(6/19/2017 Round Rock, Texas) A Parks and Recreation Department located in Round Rock, Texas has been posting alleged “evidence” on its Facebook pages including videos of hair, footprints and a blurry video of what looks like a large hominid on one of the trails. It’s actually a Russian video from 2015.
However, it appears as this is all just an elaborate social media marketing campaign to get more kids involved with the Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department this summer.
On June 16, 2017 the Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department posted a video on their Facebook page that shows a large creature running and jumping through the trees on the Bushy Creek trail.
On June 14, the department posted a series of photos claiming they were of “clumps of hair evidence found east of Interstate 35.”
On June 10, the department also posted a series of photos with the description ” Park Ranger surveillance has captured strange footprints at various parks & trails in the area.”
It’s not really Bigfoot.
The postings made by the Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department on their Facebook and other social media accounts have been covered by several local news organizations.
However, all the elaborate postings of “evidence” is a social media marketing campaign to get children more involved in outdoor activities as revealed in this report.
In the words of Columbo… “One more thing…”
The video uploaded on social media as evidence of a Bigfoot in the Round Rock area is actually a bad copy of the video below from Jun 10, 2015.
